राष्ट्रीय तापविद्युत निगम लिमिटेड is India's largest power conglomerate with an installed capacity of 67,907 MW. Commensurate with our country's growth challenges, NTPC has embarked upon an ambitious plan to attain a total installed capacity of 130 GW by 2032. To fuel its ambitious growth plan, NTPC is looking for promising, dedicated, energetic young Graduate Engineers with brilliant academic records to join the organization as: 1. Name of the Post: Engineer Executive Trainee 2. No of Post: 40 3. Qualification: Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMlE with not less than 65% marks (55% marks for SC, ST & PwBD category), as per respective Institute/University norms. 4. Compensation Package: Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000/- - 1,40,000/- at the basic pay of Rs. 40,000/- (El Grade). The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training / after absorption. 5. Placement: The selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at various places. The final place of posting will be decided after completion of training. Candidates can be placed, across the country, in any of projects/ stations including Subsidiaries/JVs companies of NTPC. The incumbents would be posted at projects/stations/sites and will be required to work in shifts (including night shift). Application for the post will be considered as the consent of the candidate to work in shifts (including night shift).

Selection Procedure
Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2021. Candidates shall be shortlisted for document verification based on GATE- 2021 performance, from among the candidates who will apply against this advertisement in NTPC. Further, "Offer of Appointment" will be extended subject to their meeting the advertised eligibility criteria. Please note only GATE marks of 2021 are valid for this recruitment.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
Last date for online application - 10.03.2022
1. Eligible candidates need to apply online on the website careers.ntpc.co.in or visit careers section at www.ntpc.co.in with their GATE-2021 registration number.
2. Candidates will be required to upload their photograph and signature during online application.
3. Read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information including the GATE-2021 registration number. After successful registration, system will generate a Unique Registration Number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration slip which will be generated by the system after successful registration.
4. Please ensure that the GATE-2021 registration number, which is mentioned on your GATE score card, is filled up correctly. Name should also be filled up as appearing in GATE score card. No request with respect to the change in any data entered by the candidate will be entertained once the application is submitted successfully.
5. Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non- refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.
6. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the registration fee.

एनटीपीसी का मुख्य काम तापविद्युत संयंत्रों का प्रौद्योगिकी, निर्माण एवं संचालन है। यह भारत एवं विदेश की विद्युत उत्पादक कम्पनियों को तकनीकी सलाह भी देती है। कंपनी की कुल स्थापित क्षमता, देश भर में स्थित १५ कोयला आधारित और ७ गैस आधारित संयंत्र के साथ, ३४१९४ मेगावाट (संयुक्त उद्यमों सहित) है। संयुक्त उपक्रम के तहत इसके ३ कोयला आधारित संयंत्र हैं और एक अन्य संयंत्र ईंधन के रूप में एलएनजी / नाफ्था का उपयोग करता है।
