Skills / Eligibility

1. Position: अनुसंधान अध्येता

2. Area of work:

CLJD is currently engaged in projects relating to human rights, gender justice, education and tribal rights. Pursuant to these research activities, CLJD is looking for a research fellow to perform the following tasks:

i. provide research support for ongoing projects;

ii. research and compile information on specific areas and topics, when needed;

iii. assist in documentation and preparation of project reports and Centre publications;

iv. provide logistical and administrative support for Centre activities and initiatives; and

v. assist with other related tasks as needed

3. Eligibility Requirement: Prospective applicants must possess the following qualifications:

i. possess a five-year/ three-year LL.B degree or a post graduate degree in law;

ii. possess at least One year work अनुभव in socio-legal research;

iii. demonstrate good research and writing skills;

iv. demonstrate good oral and written communication skills; and

v. good knowledge of MS office and online platforms

6. Duration: 6 months; extendable with mutual consent on the basis of performance.

7., Pay Band: In order to encourage interested and competitive candidates, the अनुसंधान अध्येता shall be paid in the pay band of Rs. 30,000 – Rs.60,000 per month

Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisted candidates shall be informed via e-mail for an interview.

2. Only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted via email;

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

i. Curriculum Vitae, not exceeding two side A-4 sheet;

ii. Statement of Purpose (max 500 words);

iii. Writing sample (max 2000 - 5000 words) (However, if the article is published in a reputed journal, this word limit is not applicable); and

iv. All applications must be sent to [email protected] latest by 10nd April, 2022 (Sunday 5.00pm).

v. The subject of the mail must be titled as ‘अनुसंधान अध्येता Application - CLJD”. Mails without this title will not be considered.
