शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): B.Sc
1. Position: Master Roll Worker
2. No of Post: 01
3. Project Title: Nanotechnological intervention on jute-geotextile to adapt long term sustainability and enhanced durability for its cost-effective and wide application in flexible pavement systems
4. Duration: 3 years
5. Project Objectives:
(i) Chemically modification of conventional jute geotextile (JGT) materials to enhance its durability (with a target of additional 3 years w.r.t present scenario with target efficacy of 80%) and tensile strength properties.
(ii) Performance study of the treated JGT as reinforcing layer over the soil sub-grade in flexible pavement system under repeated wheel load
(iii) Development of protocols on the application of JGT as geo-material in pavement construction based on experimental and numerical modelling
(iv) Economic analysis for pavement construction and lifelong study on overlying the JGT treated soil subgrade
6. Eligibility: B.Sc. and five years' अनुभव in working in a geotechnical laboratory at a reputed engineering college
7. Duration: One year. Extendable up to approximately 3 years, subject to funding and satisfactory performance
8. वेतन: Rs. 20,000/- per month for the fellowship period

राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, दुर्गापुर, पश्चिम बंगाल की स्थापना 1960 में की गई थी और 3 जुलाई 2003 को इसे राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के रूप में परिवर्तित किया गया था। इस संस्थान में 15 विभाग हैं। यह संस्थान सिविल इंजीनियरी, विद्युत इंजीनियरी, अभियांत्रिकी इंजीनियरी, रसायन इंजीनियरी, धातुकर्मीय इंजीनियरी, इलैक्ट्रॉनिकी तथा संचार इंजीनियरी, कम्प्यूटर विज्ञान तथा इंजीनियरी, जैब प्रौद्योगिकी तथा सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी जैसे विषयों मे चार-वर्षीय अवर-स्नातक पाठयक्रम चलाता है। यह संस्थान एमबीए तथा एमसीए सहित नौ विषयों में एम.टेक पाठयक्रमों का भी संचालन करता है। यह संस्थान विदेशी विद्यार्थियों के लिए 120 विद्यार्थी क्षमता वाला एक पुरूष छात्रावास, तीन 120 बिस्तर वाले लेक्चरर दीर्घाएं, कम्प्यूटर केन्द्र विस्तार, विद्युत यंत्र प्रयोगशाला, हाई पावर प्रयोगशाला का निर्माण करेगा।
