शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D, MS/MD

5. Essential Qualification:
M.D.Microbiology with Three years’ work अनुभव in Bacteriology. OR Ph.D. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology with Three years’ work अनुभव in Bacteriology. OR M.Sc. Medical Microbiology / Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology with Five years of work अनुभव in Bacteriology
6. Desirable Qualification: अनुभव in diagnostic Mycobacteriology. अनुभव in working with NTEP. Basic knowledge of computers.
7. Nature of Duties:
a. To supervise day to day activities of the National Reference Laboratory.
b. Provide technical support in expansion of the full range of activities under the External Quality Assessment (EQA) for sputum smear microscopy, Mycobacterial Culture and Drug Susceptibility Testing.
c. To conduct on-site evaluation of laboratories in assigned States/UTs and submit periodic reports to CTD.
d. To contribute in periodic revision in laboratory SOPs including newer technologies.
e. To support planning and scaling up of quality assured Mycobacterial Culture and Drug Susceptibility Testing (DST) laboratory network for MDR TB management and drug resistance surveillance
8. Emoluments Consolidated वेतन: Rs.65,000/- p.m.

Selection Procedure
1. The date of online/skype interview will be intimated to the eligible/shortlisted candidates by e-mail and in return they will have to send their skype id by e-mail.
2. Date of Online/Skype interview may be changed due to administrative reasons, hence, candidates are advised to check website before appearing for Online/Skype Interview.

1. Candidate should submit the application form along with the self-attested copies of the following certificates by ordinary post/Speed post duly superscribed as “Application for the post ofon the top of envelope & send it to The Director, ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, No.1, Mayor Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai: 600 031 for considering their candidature and should mention the name of the post applied for in the prescribed application form.
2. The last date for receiving applications is 11.02.2022 by 5.30 p.m.
3. Interested candidates fulfilling the required qualification may download the prescribed application form from the website www.nirt.res.in, www.icmr.nic.in.
4. The filled-in application along with self-attested copies of all credentials in support of educational qualifications, age, caste/community and affixing a colour passport size photograph on the application form should be sent by post
