शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): B.Tech/B.E, M.Phil/Ph.D
ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research will conduct walk-in-interview / written tests to the below mentioned purely temporary project posts, tenable at ICMR-NIMR for the period as mentioned below.
i. Candidates possessing required essential qualifications, अनुभव and age criteria may attend walk-ininterview / written test at ICMR – National Institute Of Malaria Research, Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi, on the date as indicated in the schedule below along with the filled-in prescribed application form and supporting documents for proof of date of birth, qualifications and अनुभव.
1. Position: Scientist ‘C’- NonMedical (IT Expert)
2. No. of Post: 01
3. वेतन (fixed) In Rs. pm: Rs. 51,000/- Plus HRA as per rules
4. Essential Qualification:
Candidate should possess 1st class Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science from a recognized university with 4 years अनुभव OR 2nd class M.Sc+Ph.D degree in IT/Computer Science from a recognized university with 4 year अनुभव OR 1st class B.Tech in IT/Computer Science with six years अनुभव in IT/Computer Science after B.Tech degree.
5. Desirable Qualification:
Candidate should possess Ph.D degree in IT/Computer Science or 1st class M.E./M. Tech in IT/Computer Science with four years अनुभव in IT/Computer Science after M.Tech. Preference will be given to those who have published scientific papers in international journals and who have a track record of working in infectious diseases. The candidate must know the following for further consideration:
(a) Data processing and analysis using statistical softwares
(b) Analysis of complex data from excel files and related skills
(c) Web designing and development. Understanding of GIS and malaria will be an advantage. अनुभव and interest in functional genomics and genomic sequencing will be important.

Selection Procedure
1. Interview will be held on the same day after registration and verification of documents. No candidate will be allowed to enter after scheduled date and time.
Note: 2. If there are more than 30 candidates against the post, written examination will be conducted and shortlisted candidates will be considered for interview/personal discussion on the same day.

राष्ट्रीय मलेरिया अनुसंधान संस्थान (एनआईएमआर) की स्थापना मलेरिया अनुसंधान केन्द्र के रुप में 1977 में हुई, जिसका नाम परिवर्तित होकर नवम्बर 2005 से राष्ट्रीय मलेरिया अनुसंधान संस्थान हो गया। एनआईएमआर, भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान विभाग, स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के अधीन एक स्वायत निकाय) के संस्थानों में से एक है।
संस्थान का मुख्य लक्ष्य मौलिक, व्यावहारिक एवं परिचालनात्मक क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान के माध्यम से मलेरिया की समस्याओं के लिए अल्पकालिक एवं दीर्घकालिक समाधानों का पता लगाना है। संस्थान प्रशिक्षण/ कार्यशालाओं और प्रौद्योगिकी के हस्तांतरण के माध्यम से मानव शक्ति संसाधन के विकास में भी मुख्य भूमिका अदा करता है। वर्षों से किए जा रहे अनुसंधान के मुख्य क्षेत्र मच्छर फोना सर्वेक्षण, महत्वपूर्ण मलेरिया रोगवाहकों और परजीवियों के लिए आनुवांशिक एवं आणविक चिन्ह्कों का विकास, सहोदर प्रजातियों के बीच जैविक वैभिन्यताओं के परीक्षण के लिए क्षेत्रीय अध्ययन, प्रजातीय जटिलताओं के रुप में मुख्य रोगवाहकों का पता लगाते हुए कोशिकावर्गिकी अध्ययन, स्थान एवं समय के माध्यम से कीटनाशक प्रतिरोधकता की निगरानी, कार्य योजनाओं की तैयारी आदि महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियां प्रदान करना है। मलेरिया नियंत्रण के नवीन प्रबंधन हेतु नए कीटनाशकों का क्षेत्रीय मूल्यांकन, जैव-डिंभकनाशकों, कीटनाशक संसिक्त मच्छरदानियां, औषधियां और परजीवी नैदानिक किट प्रदान किए गए। इनमें से अनेकों को राष्ट्रीय मलेरिया नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम में स्थान मिल चुका है।
