शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D, MS/MD

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of following posts on contract basis for the Variant Bio, Inc. funded project entitled “Understanding the genetics of ALS predisposition in India-searching for novel, disease-associated genetic variants” under Dr. Nalini A, Prof. of Neurology and Principal Investigator, NIMHANS, Bengaluru-29.

1. Position: Project Scientist II

2. No. of posts: 01

3. Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, preferably Genetics/Genomics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology from a recognized University/Institution

4. Essential अनुभव: Minimum 3 years of अनुभव in Research and Development in industrial or academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and Services. Must have a minimum 2 years of अनुभव in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) (wet lab as well as bioinformatics) focused on Human Genetics and clinical applications.

5. वेतन : Rs. 67,000/- + 24% HRA per month

6. Duration of the post: 1 year Initial appointment will be made for the period of 6 months, with extension up to the term of the project with revaluation and renewal.

1. Position: Project Associate I

2. No. of posts: 02

3. Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, preferably Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Molecular Biology from a recognized University or Institution.

4. Desirable अनुभव: Hands on अनुभव in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) (wet lab and/or bioinformatics) focused on Human Genetics and clinical applications

5. वेतन : Rs. 25,000/- + 24% HRA per month.

6. Duration of the post: 1 year Initial appointment will be made for the period of 6 months, with extension up to the term of the project after revaluation

2. No. of posts: 01

3. Essential Qualification: M.B.B.S. from a recognized University or Institution

4. वेतन : Consolidated Rs. 45,000/- per month

5. Duration of the post: 6 months
