शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.E/M.Tech, MSW

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up for the post of Field Coordinator on contract basis for the GOK funded project entitled “Developing & Implementation in integrated mental health promotion services for youth through district empowerment centres in Karnataka” under Dr. Pradeep B.S, Professor & Head, Department of Epidemiology & Principal Investigator.

1. Position: Field Coordinator

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Qualification:

MSW / MSc Psychology / PSW. अनुभव working in the community in the field of mental health and Counseling services is preferred. The applicant should be conversant in reading, writing, speaking English and Kannada languages

4. Nature of Work:

a. Candidates selected during interview need to undergo one month training at NIMHANS based on honorarium. Final selection will be done after this 1 month training. After the selection they could be placed anywhere in Karnataka.

b. Further, they must be willing to relocate to any given district in Karnataka and work. Field Coordinators would be in-charge to 15 districts each and they need to closely monitor and supervise activities under the program

c. They are responsible for coordinating with Field Liaison Officers Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, District Administration and Yuva Spandana team based at NIMHANS

d. This position requires extensive travelling within Karnataka.

6. Duration of Post: 06 Months (Initial appointment is for 6 months, based on performane, it is likely to extend further)
