Skills / Eligibility

The following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis on consolidated वेतन under the ICMR funded ad-hoc research project entitled "Human pulmonary paragonimiasis in crab-eating communities and smear negative suspected TB cases from some states of India" under Dr. Shanta Dutta, Director & P.I. of the project.

1. Position: Project Assistant (Field Investigator)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Qualification: Graduate in science/relevant subjects/ from a recognized university with three years field/ laboratory अनुभव from a recognized institution or Master's degree in Life Sciences or related subjects.

4. Monthly Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- (fixed)

1. Position: Project Technician IIl

2. No of Post: 01

3. Qualification: 12" pass in science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or one year DMLT plus one year required अनुभव in a recognized organization or two years field/ laboratory अनुभव from Govt. recognized organization.

4. Monthly Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- (fixed)

NICED conducts research on acute diarrhoeal diseases of diverse etiologies as well as on typhoid fever, infective hepatitis and HIV/AIDS related epidemiological research and screening. Aims of this Institute are to conduct research on these diseases in both basic and applied aspects. The Institute also trains health professionals for better management and prevention of diarrhoeal diseases and for rapid and correct diagnosis of the etiological agents.

Vision :

The vision, of the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (NICED), is to perform research and develop strategies for treatment, prevention and control of enteric infections and HIV/AIDS threatening the Nation’s health.
