The following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis on consolidated वेतन under the ICMR funded ad-hoc research project entitled "Comparative assessment of immune responses following covaxin, covishield, sputnik-V and development of a novel vaccine candidate using doggybone/ (MIDGE) DNA encoding SARSCoV2-spike protein for employing alongside current vaccines in heterologous prime-boost approach in mice" under Dr. Moumita Bhaumik, Scientist 'C' and P.I. of the project.

3. Qualification and अनुभव:

a) Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Life Sciences) degree holders with two years research अनुभव.

b) Desirable Qualification: अनुभव in animal handling, immunization techniques, in vivo studies and immunological techniques like: ELISA and FACS.

4. Monthly Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + 27% HRA

a) Essential ualification: 12th pass in science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or one year DMLT plus one year required अनुभव or two years अनुभव in field work in Government recognized organization.

b) Desirable Oualification: अनुभव in animal handling.

4. Monthly Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- (fixed)

NICED conducts research on acute diarrhoeal diseases of diverse etiologies as well as on typhoid fever, infective hepatitis and HIV/AIDS related epidemiological research and screening. Aims of this Institute are to conduct research on these diseases in both basic and applied aspects. The Institute also trains health professionals for better management and prevention of diarrhoeal diseases and for rapid and correct diagnosis of the etiological agents.

Vision :

The vision, of the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (NICED), is to perform research and develop strategies for treatment, prevention and control of enteric infections and HIV/AIDS threatening the Nation’s health.
