भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (NHAI) invites applications for recruitment to the following posts:

1. Name of the posts: हिंदी अधिकारी

2. No. of posts to be filled up: 01

3. Pay Band and Grade Pay: In PB-3(Rs. 15 600-39100)with Grade Pay of R s. 5400 [Pre-re vised in CDA p attern, equivale nt to Pay Level 10 of the Pay M atrix as per 7 t h CPC].

4. Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi Medium and English as a subject at the degree level. OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English Medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level.

5. Desirable:-

(i) Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board or equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the English Schedule of the Constitution.

(ii) Degree or Diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University.

6. Essential अनुभव:- Five years’ अनुभव of using / applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-a-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature.

7. In case of recruitment by deputation, the grades from which to be made: By deputation from officers under the Central government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies:-

(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the pay scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600- 39,100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (prerevised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in IDA pattern in the parent cadre/department. OR

(ii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs.4800/- (pre-revised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 8 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in IDA pattern in the parent cadre/department; OR

(iii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- (prerevised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 7 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in IDA pattern in the parent cadre/department. AND Possessing the essential educational qualifications and essential अनुभव stipulated in Column 7.

(iv) Period of deputation The period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization / department, shall ordinarily be 03 years, which may be extended for another 02 years with the approval of Chairman, NHAI. Further, extension beyond 5th year and up to a maximum of 10 years shall be with the approval of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, subject to satisfactory performance.
