शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, innovative and young Indian researchers having excellent academic record and proven scientific achievements to fill up the following scientific positions

5. Essential educational qualifications & अनुभव: Ph.D. in any science subject in the area of Pharmacognosy/ Chemotaxonomy followed by 02 years अनुभव in the relevant area.

6. Desirable: The candidate should have अनुभव of collection of medicinal plants from the wild, quality control of raw materials, monographic studies, chemotaxonomic studies of medicinal plants, and herbal drug development. The claims must be supported by publications/patents in the abovementioned areas.

7. Job specification: The selected candidate is expected to take up monographic and chemotaxonomic studies for identification of Quality planting/raw materials (QPM/QRM), herbal product development, and handling of instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, GCMS-MS

Selection Procedure

1. The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates.

2. In the event of number of applications being large, CSIR-NBRI may adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following methods:

(i) On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

(ii) On the basis of higher अनुभव in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the Advertisement.

(iii) By holding a written Test

(iv) On the basis of quality and quantity of Scientific Journal Publications.

(v) Any other method as deemed fit by Screening Committee.

आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on the last date of receipt of the online applications i.e. 31-01-2022. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the essential qualifications laid down for the advertised post as on the last date of receipt of the application. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.

2. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The candidate should therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and अनुभवs in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification(s), supported by documents.

3. The application should be accompanied by self-attested copies of the relevant educational qualifications and अनुभवs. The prescribed qualifications should have been obtained through recognized Universities / Institutions.

4. Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply ONLINE only through our official website https://www.nbri.res.in during the period from 06.12.2021 ( 10.00 A.M.) till 31.01.2022 ( upto 05.00 P.M.) No other mode of application will be accepted.

5. Candidates are requested to keep a copy of application print out for their record

6. All the instructions for filing online applications is available at our website. Candidates are requested to read and follow instructions carefully for applying online.

7. To avoid any technical difficulty, candidates are advised to submit online application well in advance of the date of closing of online application.

8. Online Applications will be availabe on CSIR-NBRI website https://www.nbri.res.in. The website will be Opened on 06.12.2021 (10.00 a.m. onwards) and closed on 31.01.2022 (till 5.00 p.m.). It is mandatory to take the print out of the successfully submitted online application form, sign the same and attach the self attested mandatory documents and passport size photograph. The print out of the application along with the relevant documents must reach CSIR-NBRI on or before 21.02.2022 upto 6.00 p.m. i.e. within 21 days of the last date of the online application submission.

9. For submission of online applications the candidates are required to pay a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) through online payment link availabe in the CSIR-NBRI recruitment portal at CSIR-NBRI website only. The transaction number generated after successful payment of fee is required to be mentioned in the online application. The candidates are advised to mention the transaction No. of online payment in the application form. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PwBD and candidates from abroad, and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.

राष्ट्रीय वनस्पति अनुसंधान संस्थान लखनऊ में स्थित एक संस्थान है। यह सीएसआईआर के अंतर्गत है, एवं आधुनिक जीवविज्ञान एवं टैक्सोनॉमी के क्षेत्रों से जुड़ा है। इसके निदेशक डॉ॰ राकेश तूली हैं। संस्थान के वैज्ञानिकों ने बोगनवेलिया की एक नयी प्रजाति विकसित की है, जिसका नाम लोस बानोस वैरियेगाता- जयंती रखा है।

यह संस्थान भारत की अग्रणी राष्ट्रीय प्रयोगशालाओं में से एक है जो कि वैज्ञानिक एवं औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद, नई दिल्ली, के अन्तर्गत लखनऊ में कार्यरत है। यह संस्थान ‘राष्ट्रीय वनस्पति उद्यान’ के रूप में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के अंतर्गत कार्यरत था, जिसे 13 अप्रैल, 1953 को वैज्ञानिक तथा औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद् ने अधिग्रहीत कर लिया। उस समय से यह संस्थान वनस्पति विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में परम्परागत अनुसंधान करता आ रहा है। समय के साथ इसमें नये-नये विषयों पर अनुसंधान कार्य किये गये, जिनमें पर्यावरण संबंधित व आनुवांशिक अध्ययन प्रमुख थे। अनुसंधान के बढ़ते महत्व व बदलते स्वरूप को ध्यान में रखकर 25 अक्टूबर, 1978 को इसका नाम बदलकर ‘राष्ट्रीय वनस्पति अनुसंधान संस्थान’ किया गया।
