जीवन विज्ञान संस्थान (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the following project positions.

1. Position: Project Associate-I/ NGS Data Analyst

2. No. of Vacancies: 01

3. Project Title: Documentation and Validation of Traditional Healthcare Knowledge of Indian Himalayan Region: Translational approach

4. Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- + @ 16% HRA per month

5. Eligibility Criteria:

a. Candidates having M.Sc. / M. Tech / M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ computational Biology, Microbiology etc.) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per GOI guideline) are eligible to apply.

b. Candidate having अनुभव in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis and working knowledge of Linux, Python and R will be given preference. Preference will be given to national level entrance test (NET/GATE/GPAT) qualified candidates. For non-NET/GATE candidates, the fellowship would be applicable as per DST guidelines

5. Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc. in any branch of Life Science. Candidates having working अनुभव in Biological research laboratories and DMLT qualification will be preferred.

3. Project Title: Establish state of the art clinical-immunogenicity assay platform to facilitate COVID-19 vaccine development.

4. Remuneration: Rs. 1, 50,000/- per month (consolidated) (negotiable based on अनुभव).

5. Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. / Ph.D. in any branch of Biological Science/ Life Science with minimum 5 years of research अनुभव.

6. Desirable:

अनुभव in assessing and guiding on the quality assessment parameters of assays, report generation, SOP generation, documentation and application for ISO and NABL accreditation. Candidates with Ph.D. in Immunology or extensive expertise in Immunological techniques like Flow Cytometry, ELISA and cell culture will be preferred
