Skills / Eligibility

Applications are invited for the temporary post of सॉफ्टवेयर डेवलपर (Web Developer) for the project titled “Office automation and procedural documentation & Faculty support for research benchmarking” in the Office of Dean Academic Research, IIT Madras.

1. Post Name: सॉफ्टवेयर डेवलपर (Web Developer)

2. Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.E / M.E in Computer Science

3. अनुभव: 1-3 Years

4. Duration: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance.

5. Pay: Rs. 25,000 – 30,000 per month (can be higher based on अनुभव)

6. Job Description:

a. Hands on अनुभव in Web Development, Web Maintenance and UI Integration.

b. Good knowledge in PHP frameworks.

c. Good understanding in OOPs concepts.

d. Good in analytical skills and quick problem solver.

e. Hands on अनुभव in writing SQL queries.

f. Expected to be a good team player

7. Skillset: PHP, MySQL and PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript

Selection Procedure

1. Candidates will be short-listed for Test/Interview on the basis of the information provided by them in their online applications. They must ensure that such information is true.

3. The Institute has a right to decide the mode of screening and testing the applicant for short listing and selection.
