शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, M.Phil/Ph.D

IIT Kanpur invites online applications from Indian Nationals including Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for appointment on temporary & contractual basis for a maximum period of five years, for the following posts at the Institutes:

5. Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics/ Electrical Engineering/Material Science and Engineering/Photonics plus 10 years relevant अनुभव. OR M.Tech./ M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Material Science and Engineering/Photonics/ Physics plus 13 years relevant अनुभव.

6. Desirable: Ph.D. in Physics/ Electrical Engineering/Material Science and Engineering/Photonics plus 10 years relevant अनुभव with atleast 5 years in industry. OR M.Tech./ M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Material Science and Engineering/Photonics/ Physics plus 13 years relevant अनुभव with atleast 5 years in industry. Work अनुभव in processing of OLED and/or flexible electronics, technology development and technology transfer,

a. interaction with industry Practical अनुभव in Thin Film Encapsulation development for flexible electronics Educational background in optics and optical materials and good understanding of device physics of optoelectronics devices. Should be able to guide optoelectronic simulation activities. अनुभव in leading industry projects and managing research teams अनुभव in printing technologies for electronics application

7. Job Specification: Leading a program for development of printed-flexible OLEDSs; Development of ITO replacement materials and transparent electronics; Initiate and manage a programon barriers/ encapsulation; manage product development and OLED technology transfer to the industry. Actively interact with industrial partners from ideation stage to project definition

a. To keep pace with the technology trend and propose innovative applications based on market demand Work closely with multidiscipilanary teams like electronics, printing and inks in developing materials, process and prototypes Define OLED technology roadmap and long term strategy plan towards OLED commercialization and production. Involve in related technology development required for realization of complete product for a defined application and its cost effective production.
