Skills / Eligibility

Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for a research associate position in the field of “Design and Development of Optical Fiber sensor for Cryo Temperature Sensing ”.

1. The work will be more focused towards fabrication of smart material coated optical fiber including the characterization in the cryogenic environment

2. Post Name: शोध सहयोगी

3. Department of Mechanical Engineering

4. Eligibility: First class in B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation and control etc. The candidate should have atleast three years of research अनुभव as on the last date of application, evidenced from RA ship or associateship or from date of registration of PhD The candidate applying for शोध सहयोगीship must have at least one research publication in standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR)

5. Fellowship details: Research associate will be paid consolidated वेतन based on the following वेतन structure of the DST for शोध सहयोगी. Category Emoluments per month शोध सहयोगी-I (47,000 per month )( consolidated )

(i) DA will not be entitled for RA

(ii)Medical Benefits: The research associate will be entitled to medical allowance as per institute policy.

(iii) The travel entitlement for research associate for participation in scientific events/workshops in India will continue to be as per institute norms.
