शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D

IIT Indore invites applications from Indian Nationals and OCIs, who belong to SC/ST/OBCNC/EWS/PwD category for faculty positions at the level of सहेयक प्रोफेसर (Grade I & II) in its various academic Departments, Centres and School.

1. Name of the Post: सहेयक प्रोफेसर (Grade I & II)

2. Total number of vacancies: 36

3. Minimum Qualifications and अनुभव Requirements. The minimum requirements for the position of सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade I and II are as follows:

(a) सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade I.

(i) Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the department mentioned in Para 5 with a very good academic record throughout.

(ii) अनुभव: Minimum three years of industrial/ research/ teaching अनुभव, excluding, however, the अनुभव gained while pursuing Ph.D.

(b) सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade-II.

(i) Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the department mentioned in Para 5 with a very good academic record throughout.

(ii) अनुभव: Candidates satisfying all criteria other than अनुभव criteria for सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade I may be appointed as सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade II with appropriate pay based on post-doctoral अनुभव.

4. Pay Structure. The pay structure for various positions, as per 7th CPC, are as follows:

a) सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade I - 1,60,667/-

b) सहेयक प्रोफेसर Grade II - 1,15,073/-

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 32 - 35 years

Selection Procedure

(1) The Institute reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates shortlisted based on their qualification, अनुभव, research, publication records and requirements of individual academic departments, centres and school.

(2) Mere fulfilling eligibility criteria will not entitle any applicant for being called for interview.

(3) The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill positions in any of the above/and or any other specialization(s)/Department(s). The Institute has the right to set different as well as higher norms, while short-listing, considering the specific requirement of the departments.

(4) Based on the shortlisting criteria, applications will be processed. Only the shortlisted applicants will be contacted through the emails provided by them in the application form.

आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

Please refer to those instructions while filling the application. The application form/ data sheet is a summary sheet mainly for data collection for statutory and statistical purposes.

(b) All certificates to be uploaded in pdf file along with the online the application form.

(c) It is mandatory to fill the application online in the link provided above, take print out of the online filled application form and submit the hardcopy before the dates mentioned in Para 3 & Para 13(e).

(d) The applicant is required to send the hardcopy of duly signed printout of the online filled Application Form along with all the required documents duly self-attested by him/her to the following address prescribing on the Envelope “Application for the position of Department of . (e) Last date for online application is March 22, 2022 till 5:00 PM (IST) and submission of signed hardcopy of the same is April 07, 2022.

(f) The candidate should retain a copy of the filled application form for future reference.

(g) Candidates must contact the referees to send letters of reference writing to the Director and Heads of the concerned Departments at IIT Indore. The referees should be requested to send the reference letters by post/email as mentioned above at Para 13(d) or email at [email protected].
