3. Project title: Spons/EE/AK/-2/2015National Centre of Excellence Technologies for Internal Security(NCETIS)

4. About the project: The National Center of Excellence in Technology for Internal Security (NCETIS) is an initiative of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) under its flagship Digital India Program. It is aimed to transform the broad area of Electronics System Design Manufacturing (ESDM) by generating indigenous, self-sufficient technology products for ensuring safety of the common people. The centre focuses on nullifying technology gaps in the internal security of the country through targeted research, encouraging domestic industry in this strategic sector and providing consultation services to security forces regarding technology choices.

5. Essential Qualifications & अनुभव: This is a leadership position involving effective management of a team, with initiative & independence, to achieve desired results PhD with minimum 8 years relevant अनुभव OR MBA/ MTech or equivalent degree with minimum 12 years relevant अनुभव OR Applicant should have sufficient अनुभव in managing large activities/centres/projects at higher/middle level managerial/scientific/academic positions (to be drawn up as per the specific requirement of project)

6. The candidate is expected to be अनुभवd in product development and marketing.The candidate is expected to have minimum 12 years of अनुभव in the engineering/ technology sector /working with Security Agencies.Candidates with profiles that satisfy one or more of the following will be preferred. अनुभव in leading successful start-ups Experice with commercialzation of technologies Several years of अनुभव in defining and managing industry-R&D centers collaborations/ interactions or industry-academia for R&D support of successful products 12-15 years अनुभव in Security

a. Agencies Several years of continuous leadership in a single company enabling generating revenue and taking it to the next level in the Cyber physical sector, for example, hardware products. Several years of leadership अनुभव in bringing effective people to the company who together have succeeded in taking the company to the next level. Growth profile in the career with impact at every stage will be preferred.

7. Job Profile: Manage all marketing activities that encourage the translation of NCETIS research activity into commercial use. Manage all communication with industry members and serve as their main point of contact with the Center. Create programs for transferring Center developed Intellectual Property and technology to Industry organisations. Develop brochures, newsletters, and other marketing materials to convey the Centers value to industry members and potential collaborators. Develop and manage activities that will enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities within the center.

a. Report on different activity status. Attend external conferences to market the Center to potential industry partners. Pursue relationships with organizations that expand the commercial domain of NCETIS technologies. Coordinate and manage Industry-specific events. Coordination and interface for Transfer of Technology and Commercialization

8. Pay Details: Consolidated वेतन Rs.160000 p.m.
