5. Nature of Work: Collection of weather data, Maintenance of field plots, imposing treatments, collecting data, collection & processing of samples, Analysis of plant and soil samples for physical- :hemical, enzymes and quality analysis etc

5. Nature of Work : Collection of weather data, real field data and analysis data, ;tatistical analysis, GIS modeling, Climate Change model analysis etc.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. The candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may attend the Walk-In-Test Cum Interview at ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode on the date mentioned above. The Candidates should be present in the venue at 10:00 AM on the date of Interview, Latecomers shall not be allowed to take the Interview.
2. They should bring with them, their bio-data and original certificates in proof of age, caste, educational qualifications, अनुभव, etc., and a copy of the अनुभव certificates. Those who do not furnish the Original or Provisional Certificate will not be allowed to appear for the written test/interview.

भारतीय गन्ना अनुसंधान संस्थान (आई आई एस आर), लखनऊ 1952 में तत्कालीन भारतीय केन्द्रीय गन्ना समिति द्वारा गन्ने की खेती के मौलिक और अनुप्रयुक्त पहलुओं पर शोध करने के साथ-साथ देश के विभिन्न राज्यों में इस फसल पर किए जाने वाले अनुसंधान कार्य को समन्वित करने के लिए स्थापित किया गया था। भारत सरकार ने 1 जनवरी, 1954 में इस संस्थान को भारतीय केन्द्रीय गन्ना समिति से हस्तगत कर लिया तथा 1 अप्रैल, 1969 को अन्य केंद्रीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थानों के साथ – साथ इसे भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएआर), नई दिल्ली को हस्तांतरित कर दिया गया।
