शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D

भारतीय विज्ञानं शिक्षा एवं अनुसंधान संस्थान तिरुवनंतपुरम is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of highquality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications for the following position on contract basis:

1. Name of Post: Chanakya post-doctoral Fellow

2. Number of posts: One

3. Name of Project: Devising practically implementable enhanced means of communication with the aid of quantum resources

4. Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency): Ph.D. degree in Physics/Information Theory/Mathematics. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D thesis but not yet obtained the Ph.D degree may also apply.

5. Preference: Candidates having prior research अनुभव in quantum channel and in quantum entanglement theory will be given more priority.

6. Fellowship amount: Rs. 80,000/- per month (consolidated). Candidates who have submitted the Ph.D thesis and awaiting the award of the degree will be paid an amount of Rs. 60,000/- per month (consolidated)

7. Tenure of the post: 1 year (first) + extendable to 1 more year (second) depending upon the progress + extendable to 1 more year (third) subject to performance appraisal and availability of funding

Selection Procedure

1. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email on details of interview date, time and will also be put up on the website www.iiisertvm.ac.in. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, interview will be conducted via online mode only.

2. A detailed resume of the shortlisted candidates with recent passport size photograph and photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, अनुभव etc. will be collected and verified at an appropriate stage.

6. A brief write-up of your research अनुभव and outlook (not more than 1 page)

7. Describe prior research अनुभव in quantum channel and/or in quantum entanglement theory (if any) (not more than 1 page)
