1. Title of project: Hindon Roots Sensing (HiROS): River Rejuvenation through Scalable Water and Solute Balance Modeling and Informed Farmers Actions

4. Qualifications: A three-year Diploma in Civil/Agricultural/Mechanical Engincering or other rclevant disciplines or B. Sc/B. Tech/ B. E in Civil/Agricultural/Environmental Engineering or relevant disciplines
5. Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/month +8% HRA
6. Duration: 4 Years
7. Job description: This project involves hydrological data monitoring and collection and water and soil sample collection across the Hindon River Basin with the help of various field instruments. 1. Stream discharge: While the automatic data logger will measure the daily river stage. periodic (weekly/bi-weekly) stream velocity measurement is required to validate the estimated discharge 2. Bi-weekly measurement of groundwater levels at various locations 3. Bi-weekly surface and groundwater sample collection for water quality analysis, and 4. Seasonal (before and after cultivation) soil sample collection for identifying the carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and other chemical constituents, 5. Perform any other task assigned by PI.

1. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
2. Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their applications with the following documents to the office of Principal Investigator through email, by post or produce at the time of Interview
3. Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certificates obtained. अनुभव including research, industrial field and others. Attested copies of degree/certificate and अनुभव certificate.
4. Candidate shall bring along with them the original degree(s/certificate(s) and अनुभव certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and अनुभव. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
5. The last date for application to be submitted to office of Principal Investigator is January 1st, 2022 by 5 PM.
