Skills / Eligibility

Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is eariler.

1. Name of the Post: Principal Project Scientist

3. Consolidated fellowship / Pay -slab: Rs.56,000-60,000-64,000-69,000-74,000-79,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 24%

4. Title of the Project: Quantum Technologies using Hybrid Photons for Secure Communication & Quantum Information (JATC-2 PROJECT #02) (RP03700G)

5. Deptt/.Centre: Department of Physics

6. Duration of the Project: Upto:28/03/2024

7. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics: Quantum Science and Technologies with a good publication record/ Quantum Information and Communication/ Experimental Optics/ Quantum Optics/ Fiber Optics. Good knowledge of Mathematica, Matlab (or other equivalent language) and Labview programming. Knowledge of Solidworks (or equivalent), mode solvers, etc. अनुभव of working with IBM Quantum Computer/ Circuit designs/ Knowledge of instrumentation and electronics. Project Activities:Polarization-entangled photon pair source, orbital angular momentum of light, twisted photons, single photon detection/counting, quantum state tomography.Work area and scope: Experimental quantum optics, towards possible demonstration of Quantum Key Distribution
