Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited for the role of a अनुसंधान सहायक in the Marketing area. You will be expected to help the area faculty with their research (in the domain of consumer psychology), and in the process, you will be able to build a research profile of your own. 1. Position: अनुसंधान सहायक 2. Skills and Qualifications: We are looking for a hardworking, sincere, and self-motivated individual who is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Marketing. Prior training in the experimental research methodology will be an added advantage. The faculty will be willing to provide the requisite training and guidance to the candidate to ensure that they are able to carry out the assigned work efficiently, but they must demonstrate a strong interest in and a basic aptitude for behavioral research. Since the candidate will work primarily on consumer psychology research projects, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology is preferred. However, highly motivated candidates from other backgrounds may also apply if they are strongly interested in research on behavioral aspects of Marketing or consumption. 3. Required : a) Motivation to pursue a Ph.D. in Marketing. b) Strong interest in and aptitude for behavioral research. c) An open mind to learn new concepts and skills. d) Strong writing skills. e) High standards of work quality – specifically, we want the RA to exhibit: (1) attention to detail, (2) ability to multitask, and (3) absolute commitment to task completion. 4. Desirable : a) A background in Psychology is strongly preferred. b) Prior understanding of experimental research will be a big plus point. c) Prior research-related अनुभव will also be a plus. d) Familiarity with a survey design platform (e.g., Qualtrics) and/or an experimental data analysis software (e.g., SPSS) will be an added advantage. e) Knowledge of automated text analysis methods (e.g., topic models, latent semantic analysis, word embeddings) will also be an advantage

भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान (आईआईएम) भारतीय सरकार द्वारा छात्रों की प्रतिभा की पहचान करने और भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों का नेतृत्व करने के लिए प्रबंधकों का एक समूह बनाने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया था। पचास से अधिक वर्षों के समय में आईआईएम उद्योग के साथ शिक्षण एवं अनुसंधान के लिए दुनिया के प्रमुख संस्थानों के रुप में पहचाने जाने लगे है।
भारत सरकार ने 2009 में आईआईएम उदयपुर के निर्माण को मंजूरी दी, संस्थान अधिकारिक तौर पर 2011 में शुरु हुआ। अक्टूबर 2016 में आईआईएम उदयपुर राजस्थान सरकार द्वारा आवंटित बलीचा क्षेत्र में 300 एकड़ में फैले अपने स्थायी परिसर में संचालित हुआ।
आईआईएमयू का उद्देश्य शिक्षण एवं अनुसंधान में उत्कृष्टता के साथ प्रबंधन शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक नया मापदंड स्थापित करना है। यह संस्थान इस क्षेत्र में एक वास्तविक अंतर बनाने का प्रयास कर रहा है। इसी क्रम में स्थानीय एनजीओ और सरकार के साथ मजबूत संबंधों को बनाने और लाइव प्रोजेक्ट्स, इंटर्नशिप, गैस्ट लैक्चर, संकाय अनुसंधान और पूरे शैक्षणिक वर्ष में कई इवेंट्स पर उद्योग के साथ मिलकर काम कर रहा है।
