शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Postgraduate degree in Environmental Laws/ Policy and Knowledge Management/ Social Science/ Forestry/Natural Resource Management/ Environmental Science or equivalent and desirable qualification is doctorate degree in the relevant field.

अनुभव (अनुभव): Minimum 10 years of अनुभव in analysis of policies and knowledge management particularly in the context of natural resource management/ forestry projects etc. Candidates with diverse practical and research अनुभव in the field will have an advantage.

वनों और वन्य प्राणियों से संबंधित सामान्य सूचना और अनुसंधान के लिए एक वितरण केंद्र के रूप में कार्य करना ।
वानिकी विस्तार कार्यक्रमों को विकसित करना तथा उन्हें जन संचार, श्रव्य-दृश्य माध्यमों और विस्तार मशीनरी द्वारा प्रसारित करना ।
