Applications from eligible candidates are invited for the following Civilian posts to be filled on direct recruitment basis as indicated below: - 1. Post Name: मल्टी टास्किंग कर्मचारी 2. No of Post: 19 3. Pay Scale: PB-I Of Rs.5200-20200 (pre revised) and Revised Pay Matrix Level I Rs.18000- 56900 4. Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass with Two years' अनुभव in any recognized firm 5. Kindly refer to the Official Notification

Selection Procedure
1. The selection of candidates Will based only on the merit in written examination. However, the skill / physical tests wherever required Will be conducted, but will only qualifying in nature with no bearing on the overall merit. Written test will be conducted for Group 'C' and upgraded Group C'
(a) Written test: posts. The qualifying marks in written exam is 50% and the candidates who qualify the written test Will be shortlisted for the trade test (where applicable). In case of SC/ST candidates, the qualify•ng marks shall be 45%. No relaxation tn qualifying marks admissible to OBC and EWS candidates.
(b) Trade / Skill Test: Trade/Skill tests are devised to check the performance / aptitude of a candidate for the said trade. Separate skill tests are to be administered for each trade. The candidates who qualify the written test are to appear for the trade / skill test. The trade/sklil test wherever required will only be qualifying in nature end shall have no bearing on the overall merit.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. The applications in the prescribed Proforma at should be forwarded to the office of The Commander, Coast Guard Region (East), Near Napier Bridge, Fort St George (PO), Chennai — 600 009
2. The last date of receipt of application is 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News.
3. The envelope containing the application must be superscripted as "Application for the post of Application should submitted by Ordinary Post only. Application sent by Speed Post / Registered Post / Courter Will not be entertained.
4. Self-attested copies of educational certificate, age proof, driving license for CMTD(X) for both heavy and light vehicles, Trade Certificate as required, a certificate for EWS/OBC/SC/ST and अनुभव certificate, if any, should be enclosed With the application.
5. Proforma With regard to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) IS placed at Candidates in Central Govt. Service should submit NOC from their present employer along with applications.

भारतीय तटरक्षक की स्थापना शांतिकाल में भारतीय समुद्र की सुरक्षा करने के उद्देश्य से 18 अगस्त 1978 को संघ के एक स्वतंत्र सशस्त्र बल के रूप में संसद द्वारा तटरक्षक अधिनियम,1978 के अंतर्गत की गई। ‘’वयम् रक्षाम: याने हम रक्षा करते हैं’’ भारतीय तटरक्षक का आदर्श वाक्य है। वर्तमान में इस बल की कमान इसके महानिदेशक वाइस एडमिरल अनुराग जी थपलियाल, के हाथ में हैं।
भारत में तटरक्षक का आविर्भाव, समुद्र में भारत के राष्ट्रीय क्षेत्राधिकार के भीतर राष्ट्रीय विधियों को लागू करने तथा जीवन और संपति की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए एक नई सेवा के तौर पर 01 फ़रवरी 1977 को हुआ था। इस बात की आवश्यकता महसूस की गई कि नौसेना को इसके युद्धकालीन कार्यों के लिए अलग रखा जाना चाहिए तथा विधि प्रवर्तन के उत्तरदायित्व के लिए एक अलग सेवा का गठन किया जाए, जोकि पूर्णरूप से सुसज्जित तथा विकसित राष्ट्र जैसे संयुक्त राज्य अमरीका, संयुक्त राज्य इत्यादि के तटरक्षकों के तर्ज पर बनाई गई हो।
