Applications are invited to attend Online interviews for post of वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान साथीs and Field Worker/Semi Skilled Helper post in externally funded project purely on contractual basis (as indicated below) till 31st March 2022 which will be held at Division of Genetics, ICAR- भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान, New Delhi 110 012 on online mode

1. Post Name: वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान साथी (SRF) in ICAR Funded project entitled “CRP on Molecular Breeding (Chickpea Component)”

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Emoluments: SRF @ Rs. 31000/- + 24% HRA pm (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag. Edn.6/27/2014-HRD Agri. Edn Dated 31.07.2019)

4. Qualifications Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in plant sciences as evidenced by dissertation work/Biotechnology with specialization in plant sciences with 4years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D./ M.Tech in any of the above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD Agri. Edn Dated 31.07.2019)

5. Desirable: The project involves movement to various parts of India where the experiments are being conducted, hence the incumbent should be able to travel independently to experiment sites. Basically field experiments are involved including data collection, crossing and harvest and post-harvest operations which the incumbent needs to carry out in field अनुभव in statistical techniques and computer skills as evidenced by thesis work or publications

Selection Procedure

1. The interview for the shortlisted and eligible candidates will be held online, the details of which will be communicated to eligible candidates by email.

2. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be shortlisted and entertained for the interview.
