शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Candidates Should have Graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government. It is necessary for the candidate to possess a certificate that serves as proof of passing the qualifying examination. During online registration, the candidate must provide a valid mark sheet or degree certificate as evidence of their graduation and indicate the percentage of marks obtained.

बैंकिंग कार्मिक चयन संस्थान (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)) भारत की एक स्वतन्त्र संस्था है जो अन्य संस्थाओं को कर्माचारियों के चयन, भर्ती एवं मूल्यांकन में सहयोग प्रदान करती है। यह 1975 में आरम्भ हुई थी। 1984 में यह स्वतन्त्र संस्था बनी।
सन 2011 से इस संस्थान ने भारतीय बैंकों के लिये अधिकारी तथा क्लर्कों की नियुक्ति हेतु समान लिखित परीक्षा (कॉमन रिटेन एक्जामिनेशन / CWE) आरम्भ किया। जो भी सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के 20 बैंकों तथा क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों में भर्ती होना चाहता है उसे सीडब्ल्यूई देना ही पड़ेगा।
