शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Retired Staff
Applications for the post of Nyaya Mitra for the districts of Agra and Allahabad on a fixed honorarium of Rs. 40,000/- per month, are invited from retired Judicial Officers who are below the age of 68 years as on 08.02.2022

4. Term of Office:
The term of the office as Nyaya Mitra shall be for a period of 06 months and thereafter their services will be extended for every 06 months with maximum for 02 years from the date of assumption of his charge or attaining the age of 68 years whichever is earlier
5. Roles and responsibilities of Nyaya Mitras
i. To identify and setting of targets of cases pending over 15 years in respective court.
ii To assists in conducting critical analysis of pending cases that may help district judges to understand the issues/bottlenecks and discuss solutions with other government departments and subordinate judiciary for early disposal of old pending cases.
iii. To coordinate with district authorities for enabling witnesses to come on time or fixed/stipulated time frame for disposal of cases and inform concerned parties
iv. To identify the cases in Pre-Lok adalats to be referred to the Lok adalats on priority basis.
v. To take necessary action pursuant to orders passed by the district court in relation of old pending cases i.e. issue notice/summons, stay/injunction, order copy, inform the arbitrator, local government departments and issue letters to lower courts for summoning the record etc.
vi. Support in implementation of other A2J Schemes in District Courts and submit best practices / success stories
vii. Any other activities related to disposal of old pending cases.
6. He/she shall be Retired Judicial Officer. Preference to candidate who has worked in the same court before retirement

2. The last date for submission of application forms is 18.02.2022.
3. The application forms may be downloaded from the official website of High Court, Allahabad.

इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय (Allahabad High Court) भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य का उच्च न्यायालय है। भारत में स्थापित सबसे पुराने उच्च न्यायालयों में से एक है। यह 1869 से कार्य कर रहा है। इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय मूल रूप से ब्रिटिश राज में भारतीय उच्च न्यायालय अधिनियम 1861 के अन्तर्गत आगरा में 17 मार्च 1866 को स्थापित किया गया था। उत्तरी-पश्चिमी प्रान्तों के लिए स्थापित इस न्यायाधिकरण के पहले मुख्य न्यायाधीश थे सर वाल्टर मॉर्गन। सन् 1869 में इसे आगरा से इलाहाबाद स्थानान्तरित किया गया। 11 मार्च 1919 को इसका नाम बदल कर ‘इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय’ रख दिया गया। 2 नवम्बर 1925 को अवध न्यायिक आयुक्त ने अवध सिविल न्यायालय अधिनियम 1925 की गवर्नर जनरल से पूर्व स्वीकृति लेकर संयुक्त प्रान्त विधानमण्डल द्वारा अधिनियमित करवा कर इस न्यायालय को अवध चीफ कोर्ट के नाम से लखनऊ में प्रतिस्थापित कर दिया। काकोरी काण्ड का ऐतिहासिक मुकद्दमें का निर्णय अवध चीफ कोर्ट लखनऊ में ही दिया गया था।
25 फरवरी 1948 को, उत्तर प्रदेश विधान सभा ने एक प्रस्ताव पारित कर राज्यपाल द्वारा गवर्नर जनरल को यह अनुरोध किया गया कि अवध चीफ कोर्ट लखनऊ और इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट को मिलाकर एक कर दिया जाये। इसका परिणाम यह हुआ कि लखनऊ और इलाहाबाद के दोनों (प्रमुख व उच्च) न्यायालयों को ‘इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय’ नाम से जाना जाने लगा तथा इसका सारा कामकाज इलाहाबाद से चलने लगा। हाँ इतना जरूर हुआ कि हाई कोर्ट की एक स्थाई बेंच लखनऊ में बनी रहने दी गयी जिससे सरकारी काम में व्यवधान न हो।
