Subject: Filling up of the positions of Research Director and Chief Research Scientist in डिजिटल इंडिया कॉर्पोरेशन on Deputation/ Direct recruitment basis

i. डिजिटल इंडिया कॉर्पोरेशन is currently inviting applications for the following positions on Direct भर्ती / Deputation/ Transfer (Absorption) basis from open market and the officers of the Central & State Government, PSUs, Autonomous / Statutory Bodies of the Government of India, States & UTs.:

1. Position: Research Director

2. Pay Matrix Level: 13A of the 7th CPC (pre-revised pay scale PB4 Rs.37400 – Rs.67000 + GP Rs.8900)

3. No. of Vacancies: 01

4. Mode of भर्ती: Direct भर्ती / Deputation/Transfer (Absorption)

5. Educational Qualifications & अनुभव: (Essential)

a. Ph.D with 12 years of post-qualification अनुभव or First class M. Tech. / M.E. or equivalent with 14 years of post-qualification अनुभव or B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree with 16 years of postqualification अनुभव from a recognized University/Institution in the areas of Information Technology (IT)/ Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunication Technology or related areas.

b. Candidate should have consistent academic record of First Class or equivalent from Matriculation onwards.

6. Tenure of Appointment:

Appointment shall be for five years on contract basis and shall be on probation for one year from the date of joining डिजिटल इंडिया कॉर्पोरेशन. This period of probation shall be considered as part of the length of service of 5 years.

7. Deputation / Transfer (Absorption):

Scientists or Technologist (S&T Officers) of the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Bodies of Central or State Government. Application through proper channel only will be considered for selection

(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis OR Three years of regular service in revised scale of Pay Matrix Level 13 (pre-revised pay scale Rs. 37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-) AND

(ii) Possessing the qualification(s) prescribed for Direct भर्ती mode above.

2. Number of post : 01

3. Mode of भर्ती : Direct भर्ती / Deputation/Transfer (Absorption)

4. Remuneration of Pay DIC: Level 13 of 7th CPC plus Allowances as applicable to employees from time to time.

5. Educational Qualifications & अनुभव: (Essential)

1 st Class B.E/ B. Tech. / MCA/ or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with 11 year’s अनुभव. OR Postgraduate in Engineering/ Technology in relevant discipline with 9 year’s अनुभव OR 1st class Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 11 year’s अनुभव OR Ph.D with 7 years relevant अनुभव.

6. Tenure of Appointment:

Appointment shall be for five years on contract basis and shall be on probation for one year from the date of joining डिजिटल इंडिया कॉर्पोरेशन. This period of probation shall be considered as part of the length of service of 5 years.
