शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): 10TH
It is proposed to fill up 4 ( FOUR) vacancies of स्टाफ कार चालक (Ordinary Grade) (General Central Services, Gr.C, Non- Gazetted, Non- Ministerial) for the year 2021-2022 in the Pay matrix Level-02 as per 7th CPC in the office of Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service, Tallakulam, Madurai 625 002 on Deputation/ Absorption basis in the Department of Posts failing which Deputation / Absorption in other Ministries/ Deputation or reemployment of Armed Forces Personnel.

2. No of Post: 04
3. Regulation of pay and other terms of deputation / absorption: Pay matrix Level-02 as per 7th CPC and will be regularized as per pay rule.
4. Period of deputation: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment In the same or some other Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
5. Eligibility Conditions -
(i) Deputation / Absorption of officials in the Department of Posts: From amongst the regular Dispatch Rider (Group C) and Group C employees in the Pay matrix Level-01 as per 7th CPC in the Department of Posts who possess valid Driving Licence for light and heavy Motor Vehicles on the basis of Trade test/Driving test to assess the competence to drive light and heavy Motor Vehicle.
(ii) Other Ministries of the Central Government and Armed Forces Personnel From officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on regular basis or regular Group C employees in the Pay matrix Level-01 as per 7h CPC who fulfill the necessary qualifications prescribed as under.
(a) Possession of valid Driving Licence for light and heavy motor vehicles.
(b) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
(c) अनुभव of Driving Light and Heavy motor vehicle for at least three years.
(d) Pass in 10th Standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
(iii) For Ex-servicemen: The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite अनुभव and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
Application (in duplicate) may be filed only in the prescribed proforma of the eligible candidates whose services can be spared immediately on selection, together with the certificate from the Forwarding Authority along with the following document:
(a) Integrity certificate.
(b) List of major / minor penalties imposed if any, on the official during the last 10 years; (if no penalty has been imposed, a "Nil" certificate should be enclosed.)
(c) Vigilance clearance certificate.
(d) Attested photocopies of the ACRs for the last five years (2017-18 to 2021-22) (attested on each page by a Gazetted officer) (wherever applicable)
The required documents mentioned in notification along with relevant documents in support of qualifications and अनुभव, may be forwarded to The Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service, Tallakulam, Madural 625 002", on or before 21.05.2022 Applications not forwarded through proper channel or those received without the requisite certificates and necessary documents or received after last date will not be entertained.

भारतीय डाक सेवा (India Post) भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित डाकसेवा है जो ब्रांड नाम के तौर पर इंडिया पोस्ट या भारतीय डाक के नाम से काम करती है। भारतीय डाक प्रणाली का जो उन्नत और परिष्कृत स्वरूप आज हमारे सामने है, वह हजारों सालों के लंबे सफर की देन है। अंग्रेजों ने डेढ़ सौ साल पहले अलग-अलग हिस्सों में अपने तरीके से चल रही डाक व्यवस्था को एक सूत्र में पिरोने की जो पहल की, उसने भारतीय डाक को एक नया रूप और रंग दिया। पर अंग्रेजों की डाक प्रणाली उनके सामरिक और व्यापारिक हितों पर केंद्रित थी। भारत की आजादी के बाद हमारी डाक प्रणाली को आम आदमी की जरूरतों को केंद्र में रख कर विकसित करने का नया दौर शुरू हुआ। नियोजित विकास प्रक्रिया ने ही भारतीय डाक को दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी और बेहतरीन डाक प्रणाली बनाया है। राष्ट्र निर्माण में भी डाक विभाग ने ऐतिहासिक भूमिका निभाई है और इसकी उपयोगिता लगातार बनी हुई है। आम आदमी डाकघरों और पोस्टमैन पर अगाध भरोसा करता है। तमाम उतार-चढ़ाव के बावजूद इतना जन विश्वास कोई और संस्था नहीं अर्जित कर सकी है। यह स्थिति कुछ सालों में नहीं बनी है। इसके पीछे बरसों का श्रम और सेवा छिपी है।
