कोल इण्डिया लिमिटेड (A Maharatna Company) invites application for engagement of one (01) full time Sr.Advisor (Marketing) from retired/retiring CMDs/Directors from CIL and its subsidiaries, PSUs/autonomous organization of Central/State Government on fixed tenure basis for a period of SIX (06) months which may be extended. VRS optees will not be considered. The eligibility criteria, terms of engagement, pay and allowances, other benefits are mentioned below:

1. Name of the Post: Sr.Advisor (Marketing)

3. Educational qualification: Master's in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from a recognized institute. Bachelor/ Master Degree in engineering would be preferred.
4. अनुभव: Should have worked from minimum 02 years in any of the top 500 market capitalized companies in India as Director (Marketing)/ HoD (Marketing). अनुभव in 10-15 years in Marketing of Coal. Expertise in logistic management, implementation of marketing policies & guidelines and building Consumer Relationship.
5. Nature of work: To provide assistance to Chairman CIL in all Coal marketing matters of CIL and its subsidiary.
6. Remuneration and other Benefits:
i) Consolidated Monthly Compensation/ Honorarium - Rs. 1,50,000/-
ii) Conveyance charges: Company shall provide Conveyance for full time Sr.Advisor as per availability. However, where conveyance is not provided, they shall be eligible for 5% of consolidated pay per month as conveyance charges.
iii) Accommodation facility: Suitable Company's accommodation shall be provided on availability. However, if company's accommodation is not available, a consolidated amount.
iv) Reimbursement for mobile telephone- reimbursement for the use of mobile telephone based on the actual bills or Rs. 750/- per month whichever is less.
v) Medical - All executives of CIL covered under the post retiral| medical benefits scheme will continue to govern by the said scheme. Those appointed who are not under the roll of CIL will be given the| same coverage of benefit, if they are not covered under any post retiral medical scheme
vi) Leave- The Sr.Advisor shall be entitled for paid leave of 15 days in every six months spell in addition to the paid holidays in the establishment. The paid leave should be regulated as per the provision of earned leave applicable to executive cadre employee under CIL Executive Leave Rules'. However the paid leave admissible as above is not encashable. The accumulated leaves will stand lapsed on the expiry of each period of engagement of Sr.Advisor.
vii)TA/DA and other boarding charges shall be payable as per entitlement applicable to the existing executive of equal grades whenever tours are undertaken for the jobs related to assignment.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. These documents along with duly filled in application format should reach the ofice of Chief Manager(Pers)/HOD(EE), CIL, Coal Bhawan, Action Area 1A, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata, Pin- 700156, West Bengal latest by 18/04/2022 by 3.00 PM by Registered Post/ Speed Post or through Email on gmpers.cil@ coalindia.in.
2. The applicant should super scribe "Application for the post of Sr.Advisor (Marketing)" on the envelope. In case of Application through Email "Application for the post of Sr.Advisor (Marketing) CIL" should be mentioned in the subject.
3. Following important points may also be noted:
a) Applications received via email/post after 18/04/2022, 3.00.PM in the office of Chief Manager(Pers)/HOD(EE) CIL, Coal Bhawan, Action Area 1A, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata, will not be considered and the company will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit in submission on application within specified time.
b) CIL reserves the right to change the number of vacancies and cancel/ restrict/modify/ alter the engagement process, if required, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. Any modifications/ amendments, if any, in this notification will be given in CIL website only.
c) All correspondence with the candidates shall be made as per his address/email, given in the application. However, important information will also be available at CIL's website.
d) CIL reserves the right to shortlist candidates for personal talk for the selection of the post of Sr.Advisor (Marketing). No T.A will be paid to any candidate for appearing in personal talk.

सरकार की राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा नीति के तहत भारत की कोयला खानों को 1970 के दशक में दो चरणों में पूर्ण रूप से राष्ट्रीय नियंत्रण में लिया गया । कोकिंग कोयला खान (आपातकाल प्रावधान) अधिनियम 1971 सरकार द्वारा 16 अक्तूबर 1971 को लागू किया गया जिसके तहत, इस्को, टिस्को, और डीवीसी के कैप्टिव खानों के अलावा भारत सरकार ने सभी 226 कोकिंग कोयला खानों का प्रबंधन अपने हाथ में ले लिया और उसे 1 मई, 1972 को राष्ट्रीयकृत कर दिया । 1973 में केन्द्रीय सरकार ने सभी 711 नान-कोकिंग कोयला खानों का प्रबंधन अपने हाथ में ले लिया । नॉन- कोकिंग खानों का प्रबंधन करने के लिए एक सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कोयला खान प्राधिकरण लिमिटेड (CMAL) नामक कंपनी का गठन किया गया था । दोनों कंपनियों का प्रबंधन करने के लिए कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड के रूप में एक औपचारिक नियंत्रक कंपनी का गठन नवम्बर 1975 में किया गया ।
