शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.A, M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for a position of Research Associate/Research Assistant under the ICSSR research project entitled “Opportunities and challenges in enhancing farm income through farmer producer organizations: A Case study of Rajasthan” at the Department of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani, Pilani campus.

1. Position: Research Associate/Research Assistant

2. Remuneration/Payment: As per the rates approved by the ICSSR, New Delhi.@Rs20,000/- p.m. for Research Associate and @Rs16,000/-p.m. for Research Assistant.

3. Essential Qualifications:

a) Research Associate: Postgraduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET/MPhil/PhD.

b) Research Assistant: PhD/ MPhil/ Postgraduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks.

4. Duration: The appointment of research associate/ research assistant will be for 12 months. However, if the performance of candidate is found unsatisfactory during the tenure, the position may be terminated with one month of prior notice.

5. Desirable: Strong command over MS word and excel is required.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be informed for the interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Pilani, if required. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The interview will be held in the third week of May 2022 through video conference (Google Meet) or at Dept. of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

2. Candidates with own fellowships such as UGC NET JRF will be given preference to pursue research in the related topic.

3. Registration for PhD: The selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full time Ph.D. program at BITS-Pilani, Pilani campus as per the institute norms.
