शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a Research Associate or Postdoctoral Fellow to work on the following project sponsored by Department of Science & Technology under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Nishith Gupta at the Department of Biological Sciences BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.

3. Project: Physiological Importance of Pyruvate Homeostasis in the Obligate Intracellular Parasite Toxoplasma gondii

4. Duration: 3 Years

5. Fellowship amount: 47000 INR/month (+ HRA as applicable)

6. Eligibility requirements: PhD in Life Science with specialization and/or work अनुभव in Cell Biology, Molecular Parasitology, Genome Engineering, Biochemistry and Bioinformatics. The candidate should either have completed the PhD or due to complete within 6 months of joining.

1. The candidates aspiring to do research in an international environment can submit the application including a cover letter, detailed CV, work अनुभव and publications by 28 February 2022 to the Principal Investigator Prof. Nishith Gupta as a single PDF via email [email protected]

2. Note that only selected individuals will be invited to appear for a virtual and/or physical interview to be held at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus in the first to second week of March 2022. There is no provision to refund the travel cost when appearing for a physical interview.

3. It is expected that all applicants visit the portal of the research group (https://universe.bitspilani.ac.in/Hyderabad/guptanishith/Profile) and understand the previous research and mutual expectations before drafting and submitting the application.
