Skills / Eligibility

Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the post of Union Territory Programme Manager (UTPM), Multi Tasking Staff and District Programme Managers to be engaged purely on a contractual basis for one year, to work in Union Territory Programme Unit and District Programme Unit to be created for implementation of 'Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana' (PMMSY) in A&N Islands

1. Designation: Union Territory Programme Manager

2. No of Post: 01

3. Consolidated Remuneration: Up to Rs. 70,000/- Per month

4. Essential Qualification: Masters in Fisheries Science /M.Sc in ToologylM.Sc in Marine Sciences/M.Sc in Marine Biology/Masters in Fisheries Economics/Industrial Fisheries/Fisheries Business Management.

5. Desirable:

i. Doctorate in the above disciplines.

ii. A degree in Management. Preference will be given for Agri-Business Management iii. Knowledge of Information Technology (IT)/Computer Applications

6. अनुभव: Minimum 7 years domain अनुभव in any area of Fisheries and Aquaculture.

These are the South Andaman district,North and middle Andaman district and Nicobar district, responsible for their respective island groups. Each district is headed by a Deputy Commissioner, in charge of the various local administrative service departments, assisted by several Assistant Commissioners and sundry other posts. These three districts are further sub-divided into tehsils, which are also grouped into local Sub-Divisions.
