शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited for the various posts in DBT funded Projects

1. Position: Scientist Grade B

2. No of Post: 01

3. Title of the Project: DBT Centre of Excellence for Stem Cell Research Phase- II.(BT-1766)

4. Consolidated Emolument (INR): As per DBT Rules (Rs 63730/month)

5. Qualification:

a) Essential Qualifications: Ph.D in Genetic Engineering/ Molecular Biology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Stem Cell biology/ Biotechnology/ with 5 years research/ teaching अनुभव OR M.Sc degree in Genetic Engineering/ Life Science/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with 6 year research / teaching अनुभव

6. अनुभव: अनुभव in Gene editing, gene cloning, Stem Cell Biology or Animal Tissue Culture. Scientist responsibilities include the following: Conduct literature reviews, collect and analyze data, prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations and mentoring junior researchers and PhD students.

7. Duration: Till 31st December, 2021 (Six Months Extension Proposed under approval)

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the online and telephonic interview. Interview date and time will be communicated individually to the suitable candidates by email.

आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. During this period the appointment of candidate may be terminated at any time by one month’s notice given by either side, viz the appointee or the appointing authority without assigning any reason, or pay in lieu of notice by which it falls short of one month. However, if the scheme is terminated before the expiry of duration his/her services shall automatically stand terminated without any notice.

2. His/her appointment is for this scheme is contractual only and does not entitle him to an appointment or subsequent absorption in another project or in the institute. In case, however he/she is selected for another post in a project or in the institute or outside, he will have to resign from his/her present post by giving one month notice or one month pay.

3. Private practice of any kind is not allowed.

4. The appointment is subject to production of original degree/certificate in proof of educational qualification, अनुभव and age.

5. If he/she accepts the offer on the above condition, he/she should report himself to duty immediately but not later than time limit of 30 days after appointment.

6. वेतन as per DBT guidelines, adapted and being followed by AIIMS Research Section

7. Last date for receiving the applications: 12-01-2022

8. Candidates must have a Letter of recommendation from their previous institute/head/guide.

9. Candidates settled in Delhi and nearby locations will be preferred.

10. Candidate will be evaluated on the basis of their knowledge, अनुभव, determination, sincerity and motivation to pursue research.
