शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D, Master of Dental Surgery, MS/MD, M.Ch, DM

3. Pay Band & Grade Pay: PB-4 (Rs 37,400-67,000) with AGP of Rs 10,500 (Pre-revised) corresponding to Level-14-A (Rs 1,68,900- 2,20,400) of 7th CPC read with letter no. V16020/28/2017-INI-I (Pt.) dated 23.08.2018 of MoH&FW, Govt. of India, plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only. Up to 40% of posts of प्राध्यापकs will get Higher Administrative (HAG) scale Level 15 subject to clearance of the prescribed process

4. Essential for Medical Candidates (for Broad Speciality Discipline) Educational Qualification: 1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.) 2. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

5. अनुभव: Fourteen years teaching and/or research अनुभव in recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

6. Essential for Medical Candidates (for Super Speciality Discipline): M.Ch. for surgical Super specialities and D.M. for Medical Super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

7. अनुभव: 1. Twelve years teaching and/or research अनुभव in recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or 2. Eleven years teaching and/or research अनुभव in recognized institution in subject specialty for candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/ M.Ch in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

8. Essential for Dentistry Candidates Essential Qualification: 1. A qualification included in part I and Part II of schedule to the Dentist Act 1948 (16 of 1948) 2. A Postgraduate qualification in Dental Surgery, e.g. M.D.S

9. अनुभव: Fourteen years teaching and/or research अनुभव in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

10. Essential for Non- Medical Candidates* Educational Qualifications 1. Master’s degree in concerned specialty. 2. A doctorate degree of recognized university.

11. अनुभवFourteen year teaching and/or research अनुभव in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.

Selection Procedure

1. Short Listing: The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection. Based on bio data, the Screening Committee may short-list candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents furnished at the time of application. They have to submit an affidavit signed by Judicial Magistrate/ Notary at the time of interview.

2. Interview: Details of the interview will be communicated through registered e-mail provided at the time of registration. Interviews will be conducted in a phased manner as per requirement of the Institute. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

3. Selection Procedure: The selection will be on the basis of the Interview. Selection process will include review of academic, research credentials including publications, academic awards, and research paper, presentation in conferences and performance in interview.
